FO Engineering recently designed a custom motor mounted controller for Specialty Motors Inc. They are a US manufacturer providing fractional horsepower electric motors for a wide range of applications. The company has been providing a diverse customer base with high quality custom designed electric motors since its founding in 1971.
FO Engineering also has a general line of Programmable Indexing Drives with the following key features:
- 6 General purpose digital inputs that are programmable to interface with any common logic levels and protocol.
- The inputs may be programmed to:
- Command a specified position following a programmable trajectory
- Command a specified speed
- Enable or disable the drive
Enabte or disable ths drive
- 6 General purpose digital outputs that are programmable to interface with any common logic levels and protocol (e. g. open collector or high side source only). The outputs may be programmed to:
- lndicate a commanded condition
- A specific position or speed
- Indicate alarm condition such as over temperature or over current
- The unit may be programmed and/or commanded via the convenient USB interface.
